Easter Nests:
Cut your recipe in half, using about 3 cups of Rice Krispies for nests.
You want this recipe to have a slightly higher marshmallow content. You will also need cupcake liners, which will hold your ‘nests’. Once you have made your mix, add in a ½ cup of chocolate chips. Remove from the heat. Coat your hands lightly with cooking spray. Form balls of the mixture into nest shapes, and put into the cupcake liners. You can dye some coconut shavings green as ‘grass’, or use icing to decorate. Use JellyBeans or egg candies as eggs for your nest. These also look adorable if you place a Peep in the nest!
If you have very little kiddos helping in the kitchen, you can put the cupcake liners in a muffin tin. This can make the shaping process a little easier!
